'Documents' not fixed

Sorry, again.

Weeks have gone by, and it's no better. Yes, I really did want to offer the option of you being able to view each chapter each week - on the screen! That still isn't happening: the so-called geniuses who invented the app haven't been able to make it work, yet. Still they offer it, still they promote it, still they give no warnings or apologies. Well, the internet is full of people wanting to make you rich, or handsome, or good at orienteering. It shouldn't be a surprise, I...

Viewing on screen

Yeah, I know: it doesn't work.

A thousand apologies. I feel bad too, advertising a service that simply doesn't exist. The point is this, that if you look on the 'Documents' page, it tends to give the impression that you have a choice: you can either download each section and read it on your computer at home, in your own time, or you can load it up immediately and read it on screen. But you can't. It doesn't say that; it makes it seem as though there is merely a temporary difficulty and ...

Well, we said it was going to happen.

Firstly, people are invited to click the 'Contact Me' button and let ME know what they think. Right, someone has taken us at our word and done just that. Okay, now they want some action, right?

Read this week's 'Salford Advertiser'.

Got to get my head around this: the Labour Party are busy at the moment, making up their mind who the 'official' candidate for their party is going to be - for the forthcoming election to be the new Mayor of Salford, (happening on 3rd May).

Right, so they have to have an election, to help them to make up their minds who the person is going to be that they're going to present to the electorate of Salford as the Labour Party candidate for the e...

News in Salford

Managed to find a copy of 'The Advertiser' last Friday, (they don't deliver the paper in my neck of the woods, and I had to pay for a copy in a local supermarket). It was chock full of interesting stories, and I loved the bit about odds being offered on the possible candidate's for the post of elected Mayor in Salford - especially as the odds are being offered by Fred Done - a possible candidate, (according to the 'Advertiser').

2015 - straighten up, there!

This new year may be remembered for two things. One, I've started a new book, written in chapters, each one coming out every week until May. It's another attempt to write a political novel, like I did in 2012 when we got busy electing a Mayor in Salford. The second thing is that I've gone back to the dentist - for the first time in years - for some major work. One thing is clear, he says, if it all goes well, you may not recognise me! Finally, after all these years, I may have a bright and wi...
